Unleashing a mythic new series
Opportunity
Live From Mount Olympus was a bold new storytelling podcast from the Onassis Foundation and theater ensemble The TEAM — blending Greek mythology, cinematic sound design, and an award-winning creative team. As the series prepared to launch, it needed a brand identity and social presence that felt as imaginative and transportive as the show itself.
Work
I partnered closely with Peabody Award–winning showrunner Julie Burstein, executive producer Karen Brooks Hopkins, Onassis Foundation stakeholders, and illustrator Jason Adam Katzenstein to shape the show’s digital identity from the ground up.
In addition to offering feedback on script and episodic structure, I helped translate the show’s audio magic into digital storytelling that drew audiences in. I conceptualized illustrations and episode art, wrote multi-platform copy, and oversaw organic and paid social media.
Impact
Live From Mount Olympus became a New York Times Critic’s Pick, rose to a Top Apple Podcasts ranking, earned a Webby Award nomination, and won a Bullhorn Award. It was also featured as an Amazon Music podcast promo, helping expand its early audience reach.
Those first seasons surpassed 1 million downloads, establishing a devoted listener base and proving the show's resonance with young audiences. The strong narrative identity and digital presence shaped during the launch contributed to the momentum that carried the series forward — ultimately supporting its continuation for 7 seasons!
