Creating the agency’s first video series

Opportunity

The Harry Walker Agency brings audiences once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to hear from global leaders, thought leaders, and cultural innovators… but much of the content available felt static: bios, one-sheets, and traditional press. Event planners wanted a faster, more personal way to understand a speaker’s style and point of view — something more engaging than text and more accessible than full-length talk recordings.

Work

I co-conceptualized HWA Chats with the VP of Marketing — the agency’s first short-form video series designed to help event planners get a quick sense of a speaker’s expertise, personality, and presence.

Drawing on insights from the sales team about what planners were asking for, we developed tailored questions for each speaker. They then recorded a set of short clips that could be used to pitch them to a range of audiences and event types.

I shaped the series’ identity and messaging, wrote promotional copy across email and web, and positioned it as a high-value resource for both agents and event planners.

Impact

HWA Chats quickly became one of the agency’s most effective marketing tools. It succeeded by:

  • Increasing engagement and interest from event planners

  • Giving agents a compelling, easy-to-share asset for pitching speakers

  • Elevating speaker visibility and differentiating HWA in a competitive market

The series shortened the sales cycle by giving planners a faster, more intuitive way to evaluate fit. It also helped modernize the agency’s digital strategy and laid the foundation for future multimedia marketing efforts.
